Qatar Provides (60) Tons of Kidney Medicines and Laboratory Solutions to Sudan

The Federal Ministry of Health has inaugurated the distribution of (60) tons of kidney medicines, medical laboratory devices and solutions, and blood bags at the medical supplies stores in Port Sudan, provided by the State of Qatar to the Northern, River Nile and Sennar states, at a rate of 20 tons for each state.
The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohammad Ibrahim, appreciated the airlift of medical aid to Sudan provided by the State of Qatar through the Qatar Charity Society, the Qatar Red Crescent Society and the Qatar Fund for Development, noting that the support went beyond aid and delivering it through medical supplies to those states and contributing to their transportation.
He pointed out that Qatari support contributed to meeting the need, pointing out that a number of laboratory solutions run out during the last period.
For his part, Acting Director of the Qatar Charity Association Office, Tariq Mohieldin, said that the shipment of medicines provided by the State of Qatar contains solutions, dialysis medications, and blood bank services to states in need, noting that Qatari efforts are continuing to send medical aid, which came after the visit of the Qatari Minister of International Cooperation, Lulwa Al Khater.
