Dealers in the foreign exchange market told (Sudan Events) that the selling price of the dollar in parallel market trading (Tuesday) recorded an unprecedented rise, as the purchase price reached 1,580 pounds, while the selling price reached 1,600 Sudanese pounds.
The Saudi riyal also recorded a significant increase and its price reached 421.33 Sudanese pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham rose to 430.51 pounds. The Qatari riyal recorded an increase and reached 432.87 pounds, while the Omani riyal rose to 4051.28 pounds.
Foreign currency trading prices in banks also recorded an increase, noting the variation in buying and selling prices from one bank to another. The price of the dollar reached 1,250 pounds in the Bank of Khartoum, while it rose to 1,260 pounds in Omdurman National Bank.
