The artist singer Sherine Abdel Wahab had performed at the Laylat Al-Omar Festival concert in Kuwait in the presence of a large audience, and they received her with intense interaction from the beginning of her entry on the stage with the song “Ah Ya Lail”.
The Egyptian artist was keen to welcome and greet the Kuwaiti audience through some words in which she said: “I am happy to be among you today. Today I am the voice of Kuwait,” explaining that she feels that she is the voice of every country in which she sings.
The singer of “Ah Ya Lail” praised the audience’s interaction with her and sent them a message of thanks, “You make me feel like I am truly the voice of Kuwait that expresses you. Thank you, thank you with all my heart,” and she began presenting the songs for which she became famous throughout her artistic career, in addition to some traditional songs.
Sherine collapsed on stage crying while presenting the song “Keda, My Heart.” She stopped singing as she was unable to complete the rest of the song. She left the microphone and stepped back a little, but the audience gave her warm encouragement and interacted with her strongly.
