The Disciplinary Committee of the Asian Football Confederation announced a decision to fine Al-Nasr Saudi Club $2,250. Due to the misconduct of 5 people representing the team, Al-Hilal Club was fined $3,000, due to three people representing the team entering the field without accreditation cards, in the Iranian Sepahan match in the AFC Champions League.
The committee decided to suspend Al-Nasr club player Ayman Yahya for 3 matches, including the automatic suspension match due to the events of the Al Ain UAE match in the AFC Champions League.
The committee also announced the suspension of Al-Ittihad player N’Golo Kante for two matches, including an automatic suspension for one match. Due to his expulsion, a fine of $1,000 was paid, and Al-Ittihad player Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah was suspended for 3 matches, including an automatic suspension for one match in Asia.
