Lebanese star Cyrine Abdel Nour meets Syrian actor Qais Sheikh Najib for the first time in a dramatic work entitled “Al-Nesian.”
The new dramatic work represents an opportunity for Cyrine Abdel Nour to return to the small screen after an absence of more than a year, as her last television work was the series “Al-Ain bil Ain” in which she played the role of “Noura” and co-starred with the Lebanese artist Rami Ayyash.
“Al-Nesian” was filmed in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The series was written by Shadi Kiwan, directed by the Syrian Al-Fawz Tanjour, and produced by the Syrian Muhammad Mishish. The series includes, in addition to the duo Cyrine Abdel Nour and Qais Sheikh Najib, an elite group of Syrian and Lebanese stars, most notably Yorgo Shalhoub, Nada Abu Farhat and Carol Hajj.
The 15-episode series addresses the issue of the presence of Syrians in Lebanon, as it revolves around a group of stories that shed light on various social issues.
It took about 52 days to film the work in Beirut. The series was supposed to be shown in Ramadan 2024, but it was postponed to be shown on some private digital platforms.
