In a large ceremony held at Okan University in Turkey, the series “The Kingfisher” won 3 awards, and Afra Saraçoğlu won the “Best Actress” award for her role in the series as the character “Seran.”
The second prize went to Deren Bulatogulari, who played the role of Afraa’s father in the series, and the third prize was “Best TV Series.”
One of the striking moments on stage was when Afraa spontaneously expressed her sadness while receiving awards for the series “The Kingfisher” due to Mert Ramadan’s absence from the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Afra spoke about her life as a student in response to journalists’ questions, saying what it means: “I was a successful student, but when I entered acting, I did not continue my education. I was studying in Eski Oşehir. God willing, I will continue. Let us finish the third season of Kingfisher first.” She responded.
