Monica settled in Egypt 3 years ago, and began to make her way in the artistic field. In Cairo, she worked with Egyptians in several works, participated in ten festivals, and even won many awards. She also obtained membership in the Syndicate of Musical and Acting Professions and is working to qualify herself through workshops and studies, due to her faith. Monica recently revealed during the earthquake program presented by journalist Ahmed Dandash that she had converted to Islam, veiled herself, and was fasting in secret because she did not want to anger her mother, who is an Italian Catholic, and she was unable to confront her about her conversion to Islam, which happened nine years ago.
