Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
The owners of export companies were surprised (Wednesday) by the increase in the rates of transportation of crops.
The Port Sudan Transportation Cooperative Association, Abu Hashish, sent a letter to the managers of export companies – a copy of which was obtained by Sudan Events – informing them that they were forced to increase the transportation rates by 50%, starting from the first of next June. The Secretary-General of the Port Sudan Transportation Association, Saif Al-Din Obaid, attributed their need to increase the rates of transportation due to the increase in fuel by 85%, in addition to the significant increase in the prices of tires, spare parts, and all aspects of life.
