Khartoum Water is Committed to Repairing What Was Destroyed By War

The Khartoum State Water Corporation has confirmed the continuation of its efforts to provide water supply to citizens in the state thanks to the efforts of workers in the stations and wells.
The Director-General of the Corporation, consultant engineer, Mohammad Ali Al-Ajab, said during a meeting of the Supreme Emergency and Crisis Management Committee in Khartoum State that the steps to provide water supply to the old Omdurman area are proceeding at a rapid pace after the arrival of equipment to rehabilitate the Bait Al-Mal water station, indicating that the Corporation will work side by side with the government. The mandate is to upgrade water sources and restore and maintain what was affected by the war, appreciating the efforts of workers stationed at stations and wells and their challenge to the complex security conditions in a number of areas.
