The Coordination of the Al-Manara Neighborhood Resistance Committees, north of Omdurman, said that 11 civilians were killed and others injured, on Saturday, as a result of artillery shelling by the Rapid Support militia.
In a statement, it described the bombing that targeted the area as indiscriminate, as it resulted in the deaths of victims who were waiting for transport buses near the Halfaya Bridge in the Omdurman district, and others from the Al-Manara neighborhood, when artillery shells fired by the Rapid Support militia fell on them from their positions in Khartoum North.
From its positions in Khartoum Bahri, the militia artillery targeted several areas north of Omdurman, including the neighborhoods of Al-Manara, Al-Hatana and Wad Al-Bakhit.
