Employers Association Demands Imposition of Supervision on Banks
Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
The head of the Employers’ Association, Muawiyah Mohammad, on behalf of the members of the association, has called on the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan to impose strong oversight on the banking system and know the source of the funds that enter and exit.
He attributed his request to the fact that most of the money was from the citizen’s money looted by the Rapid Support militia in the state of Gezira and Khartoum. Muawiyah indicated in his speech to (Sudan Events) that confirmed information indicates that “mercenaries” are active in selling stolen goods through the banking applications “Bankak,” “Fawry,” and “Okash.”
He appealed to the regulatory authorities to be strict about the presence of purchase and sale invoices in commercial transactions, as well as to monitor export operations in the sense that there is a large export of “scrap” of stolen iron that is compressed and comes out in the form of exported iron.
He asserted that controlling and monitoring the banking system would contribute to ending the rebellion, because most of the mercenaries now aimed to steal.
