The Arab Fund or Economic Development Announces Support for Sudan

The Director General of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, Badr Mohammed Al-Saad, has announced tThe Fund’s readiness to help Sudan get out of its current ordeal.
During his meeting with Sudanese Finance Minister Gabriel Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Arab financial institutions in Cairo, Al-Saad stressed the necessity of providing support in projects that would advance society. He expressed his deep regret for the current situation in Sudan and the suffering of the Sudanese people due to the war.
The Sudanese Minister of Finance stressed the importance of the Fund’s role in providing urgent humanitarian aid, especially in the areas of health and first aid, and provided Al-Saad with enlightenment on the current conditions in Sudan, especially in light of the current war and the destruction of the infrastructure.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties stressed the necessity of continuous communication between the two sides, especially with regard to vital projects that would improve the lives of the Sudanese citizen.
