The journalist Fawzi Bishri, who presented a criticism in the same context, considered that the great poet is the highest platform in his nation because he stands in that lofty place in existence where visions, inspiration, conquests, and veils rise to the point of He sees what no one else sees.
“I wish that the creative poet Azhari Muhammad Ali had preserved his poetry and not brought it down from its sweeping ascents to the foothills and brought it down from his pulpit overlooking the entire expanse to a political circus theater in which (the tamer) killed the lion’s self-awareness and demanded that he act like a monkey.” He said.
“Did Al-Azhari recite new or old poetry among the people? I do not know, but what I know for certain is that Al-Azhari’s presence there represented all of his poetry and his position, even if he did not recite a single line. What was on display for viewing there was Azhari’s symbolism, (the beauty) of Azhari, to make the fall in the mud a normal thing.. We were not alone, Azhari was with us.” He said.
