Khaldoun Al-Mubarak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the English club Manchester City, personally intervened to convince Pep Guardiola, the team’s coach, to stay. Media reports had confirmed that next season may be Guardiola’s last to coach City, as his contract expires in the summer of 2025.
