The Unionist Party (origin) Disavows Participation of People in its Name in “Taqaddum” Conference

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

Member of the leadership body and head of the Democratic Unionist Party in the United States of America, Ahmed Al-Sanjak, has denied what Abdullah Hamdouk announced about the participation of a delegation from the Unionist Party in “Taqaddum” conference in Addis Ababa, stressing that the party has no connection to the meeting and did not authorize any of its leaders to participate in it. He added: “If it becomes clear that there is any person claiming to belong to the party, his presence expresses him personally and the parties that incited him to do so, and does not express the federal government or its legitimate party institutions.” Al-Sanjak asked, “Who are those who claimed to represent the party in this forum and where did they come from?” Hamdouk demanded that this information be revealed to public opinion so that it can judge whether we are telling the truth or whether they are lying.
Al-Sanjak added, “We confirm what is certain that the Unionist Party (origin) is not part of this bloc and has no connection to it, and it is normal for it not to participate. Therefore, what is being said about the party’s participation is nothing but lies and false allegations that are completely baseless and will not deceive anyone’s intelligence.”
Al-Sangak stressed that the Unionist Party, led by Maulana Mohammad Osman Al-Mirghani, “will remain the steadfast and steadfast leader of resistance in the face of any foreign interference that is harmful to the country’s supreme national interest,” noting that the gap between the Democratic Unionist Party and “Taqaddum” bloc is still “wide,” and has even witnessed more expansion after the signing of the agreement between Taqaddum and the terrorist Rapid Support Militia, which was a reason for encouraging the militia to commit many crimes against Sudanese in multiple states of Sudan.
