China: Our Support for Sudan will not Change, Whatever the Circumstances

China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, has said that his country’s firm and supportive position for Sudan will not be shaken, no matter how circumstances change.
He stressed China’s keenness to support Sudan to protect national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and rejected external interference in its internal affairs.
During his meeting with Sudanese Foreign Minister Ambassador Hussein Awad, he indicated that Beijing supports efforts to achieve peace and stability in Sudan and through international platforms.
For his part, the Sudanese Foreign Minister thanked China for the continuous humanitarian support it has been providing to Sudan since the outbreak of the treacherous war. He stressed that Sudan’s position is firm regarding China’s fundamental issues, and stressed the need for continued cooperation and coordination between the two countries in international forums.
The discussions touched on the work of the Tenth Ministerial Forum, which reflects the depth of the established Chinese-Arab relations.
