Al-Burhan Rejects a Date Set by Blinken to Resume Jeddah Negotiations

The President of the Sovereign Council, Army Commander, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, rejected the date set by US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, to resume the negotiation process with the Rapid Support Militia (RSF) .
According to senior sources who spoke to Al-Sharq, the American Secretary set June 1 as the date for resuming negotiations.
AL-Sharq added, “Al-Burhan informed Blinken that they are awaiting written invitations that include the negotiating agenda and mechanisms for implementing any prospective agreement.
