Sudanese sources have revealed a draft of a Sudanese-Russian agreement that grants Russia a technical and logistical military support center on the Red Sea.

According to Sudanese sources cited by “Asharq,” the Sudanese-Russian agreement draft extends for 25 years and can be terminated at the desire of either party.

The sources indicated that the draft supports providing the Sudanese army with military equipment according to a separate protocol.

The sources added, “The draft of the Sudanese-Russian agreement stipulates that the Russian presence should not exceed 300 personnel.”

Furthermore, “The Sudanese-Russian agreement stipulates that the number of ships at the technical support point should not exceed four at any given time.”
