Musician Dr. Kamal Youssef presented a scientific paper on the positive impact of immigration on the arts in the Migration and Governance Dialogue Workshop, which ended last Thursday and has continued since Sunday at the beginning of the week, in partnership between the American University in Cairo and the University of Cologne in Germany.
“In the closing session, we presented papers on migration and cultural heritage, in which I participated by presenting a paper on the positive impact of migration on the arts under the title ‘The Positive Impact of Migration on Art’ accompanied by musical models, and an introduction to the activities of musicians now present in Cairo.” Dr. Kamal Youssef said.
The paper included a presentation of video samples for rehearsals of the Tabar Orchestra, which we re-established in Cairo, and a presentation of excerpts from the memorial concert for Mahjoub Mohamed Saleh, which we held at the American University last month.
