UN Official: Sudan war fuels endless Humanitarian Disaster

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned on Sunday that the ongoing war in Sudan “is fueling a humanitarian disaster of epic proportions that has no end.”
Adeem Wosorno, Director of Operations and Advocacy at OCHA, said in a post on the UN office’s account on the “X” platform: “Sudan is now suffering from the largest internal displacement crisis, after it was a generous host to more than a million refugees.”
She confirmed, after meeting with the IDPs in Sudan, that Sudan’s war “is fueling a humanitarian disaster of epic proportions that has no end.”
