Pledges from Gedarif Government to the success of Agricultural season

Acting governor of Gadarif, Maj.Gen.(Rtd) Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, affirmed the state government’s attention in providing the requirements of the agricultural season in coordination with the relevant authorities in the center, in reference to the state government’s meetings held with the relevant authorities in the administrative capital, Port Sudan, last month, that had come out with many results to ensure the success of the season.
During his meeting with the committee authorized by the farmers in the state in his office, Monday, he pointed out the need to combine efforts in order to make the agricultural season in Gadarif a success, that is expected to provide sustenance and food for the people of Sudan after a number of states left the production circle in the previous two years due to the war.
He discussed a number of topics related to entering the current agricultural season in terms of providing agricultural production inputs such as fuel, seeds, fertilizers and other inputs.
