Launching of campaign against common disease vectors in River Nile

The Animal Wealth and Pastures Department in the River Nile launched a campaign to combat disease vectors to reduce the spread of diseases common to humans and animals, as part of the current year’s autumn emergency plan in cooperation with the United Peace Organization, to keep the state free of diseases and healthy animals.
The campaign was launched by the Director of the Animal Wealth Department in Shendi Locality, Marwa Hassan Al-Fadl, and the campaign began in the Shendi City Unit, and included the areas of Shabliah and Sardia Islands.
For her part, the Director of Animal Wealth affirmed that the campaign will continue to cover all villages in the locality, adding that veterinarians and technical cadres from the Animal Health and Epidemic Control Department are fully prepared to make the animal disease vector campaign a success and create a healthy and safe climate.
The campaign was accompanied by the distribution of medicines to breeders provided by the organization.
