A sad greeting without it. God Al-Hajj, the founder of the “Camerata” folk arts group, posted on his Facebook page in which he expressed his sadness on his first Eid outside Sudan, which coincided with his birthday.
“The most difficult birthday is when I am outside my country, a refugee from a war that displaced thousands. This is the first time in my life that I spend Eid al-Adha outside Sudan, away from the morning tea that my mother makes, may God protect her, and the roasted meat that we wait for a whole week before Eid, and Khawaja’s breakfast, which is the first breakfast in the neighborhood,” He said “May God, fix our situation and return us to our country. As long as Sudan is fine, I will be fine.” He added.
