Sudan Events – Magda Hassan
The director of the film (War Shock), Wad Al-Saken, said that the film is an extension of films with a clear message.
“If the Sudanese film Goodbye Julia conveyed a very big message on the issue of racism between the North and the South, then the film War Shock is the first Sudanese film that deals with the events of the war in Sudan, which It is considered one of the biggest and most difficult issues that the Sudanese people have faced, and we, as a Sudanese people, have not been able to confront it ourselves.” He added. “But cinematic art, at this time, could be the only possible means to bring us together in this beautiful way, which has a high degree of peace, and the film’s message is not for the Sudanese only, but a message to the whole world. We thank everyone who contributed to spreading the message in this beautiful way, and God willing, we will all return stronger and more united.” He added.
