Member of the Sovereignty Council TSC , Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces SAF Lt.Gen. Shams El-Din Kabashi, affirmed the need to unite the Sudanese national ranks, reject racist and tribal sentiments, maintain the cohesion of the internal front, reject hate speech, and conduct a comprehensive dialogue that establishes new concepts.
While meeting in his office in Port Sudan on Wednesday with a delegation from the Rizeigat Coordination Committee inside and outside the country, headed by Al Daif Issa Aliyu; Kabashi affirmed the importance of enhancing peaceful coexistence among all the people of Sudan and upholding the value of the homeland.
For his part, Al Daif Issa Aliyu affirmed support of Rizeigat tribe to the armed forces SAF in their battle against the rebel Rapid Support RSF Militia, noting that some have stole the name of the tribe to fight in the ranks of the rebellion.
He affirmed the tribe’s disavowal of anyone fighting in its name in the ranks of the rebel Rapid Support RSF Militia.
Explaining that Rizeigat tribe has nothing to do with the rebellion or with the false talk promoted by the Rapid Support RSF Militia and the involvement of the tribe’s name in the violations, killing, looting and rape it is committing.
