Washington demands Taqddum to remove militia loyalists from the Coordination

US Special Envoy to Sudan, Tom Perriello, called on Taqddum Coordination to remove loyalists of the Rapid Support Forces RSF from the coordination.
Perriello directed, according to (Voice of Sudan), the necessity of concluding a reconciliation between Hamdok and Yassir Arman to show the cohesion of the coordination to the World community.
Perriello met with the new leading committee of the coordination headed by Al-Siddiq Al-Mahdi.
He said that the Transitional Initiative Office exerted pressure on members of the coordination to accept Hamdok and support his nomination.
According to (Voice of Sudan), the meeting was held with the aim of congratulating the coordination on the success of its conference and the selection of the new leadership, and the US envoy provided assurances to the coordination of continued support.
