The artist, Shemoos, said that artists have a major role in preserving hope, especially in light of what people are suffering in this period.
“We worked very hard to create a work that expresses our love for the country, even though there are not enough words to describe our love for Sudan.” She said. “Despite the distress that our country is going through it, but our role as artists is to maintain hope and be optimistic about the good for the country, and with these feelings came the song (About My Country), composed by the great musician Tariq Khairy.” She added.
The song is considered the last work of the artist Shemoos.
