Al-Sir affirmed that the Democratic Unionist ( the origin) Party, based on its keenness to strengthen Sudan’s relations with all friends, categorically rejects tampering with Sudan’s relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and considers it a red line.
Al-Mirghani’s advisor affirmed his party’s categorical rejection of the media campaign that aims to strain the historical relations between Sudan and Saudi Arabia, considering that all the rumors about the Rapid Support RSF Militia receiving Saudi training are pure “misleading and slander”, “lies and imaginary fantasies” and continued “these incitements will not disturb the historical relations between the two brotherly countries”, and Al-Sir added that “the Kingdom brings nothing but good to Sudan”, appreciating the loyalty of Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people to Sudan”, and pointed out the Sudanese people’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia for its position in support of Sudan’s sovereignty and the unity of its territory, especially in light of the current circumstances that Sudan is going through. Al-Sir announced the readiness of the Sudanese people to confront all attempts by “hired” pens and “masked” voices seeking to undermine the close relations between Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”, noting that these “hoarse” voices had previously insulted and attacked the Sudanese National Movement Party – according to his expression. This statement and clarification came, according to the leader of the Unionist ( the origin ) Party, Hatem Al-Sir, after the emergence of a media campaign backed by unknown parties that aims to undermine bilateral relations between Sudan and Saudi Arabia and cast doubt on the movements of the Saudi ambassador to Sudan, expressing “the condemnation of the Unionist Democratic ( the origin ) Party in Sudan of all positions and statements that attempt to create tension and confusion in the historical relations that link the two brotherly countries.”
