The Sudanese army SAF announced on Monday that its forces in the Bahri military area were able to destroy military vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support RSF Militia, while clashes between the two forces were renewed in western Omdurman.
The SAF media reported that “the Hattab operational base carried out a successful qualitative operation during which it was able to destroy a fuel tanker and a number of military vehicles, and receive three other vehicles with their full armament from the Rapid Support RSF Militia.”
Meanwhile, military confrontations were renewed between the army and the Rapid Support RSF Militia in the 29th and 26th neighborhoods located on the border between the localities of Karari and Ombada, west of Omdurman, where all types of weapons were used.
The warplanes also launched intensive air strikes targeting the militia’s positions in Al-Bustan and Al-Nakhil neighborhoods in the Ombada locality.
According to military sources who spoke to Sudan Tribune, army forces set up bases in the Al-Rashidin and Ombada Al-Sabil neighborhoods after extending their control over the area.
