Mubarak Al-Fadil :Islamists cannot be excluded by a Political Decision

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

Head of Umma Party, Mubarak Al-Fadil,affirmed that the political ban that is not based on a judicial ruling is an unconstitutional procedure that the Constitutional Court has the authority to cancel.
Al-Fadil said in a tweet on Sunday that the Islamist Brotherhood and Salafi movement is a reality in Sudanese society that cannot be canceled by a political decision, adding, “Therefore, it is safer to leave the decision to the Sudanese people through the ballot box.”
He pointed out that the Salvation banned the parties for ten years and was unable to eliminate Umma and Federal parties and tear the country apart, so it sought reconciliation with them and canceled the ban decision.
He added, “We all, the political and societal powers and the SAF ,after this war that destroyed the country, must realize the lessons of the recent past that tore our country apart and reconcile with ourselves and with each other so that we realize what remains of the country and do not turn into a refugee and begging nation.”
Al-Fadil said, “We are planning for a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue. We must stop the trial of opinion and drop all open reports on politicians because of their political positions and only prosecute the murderers, criminals and thieves of the people’s food. We need a comprehensive reconciliation to realize our Sudan and rebuild it.” He continued, “Let us resort to the people to elect whoever they want. What are we fighting over when more than ten million Sudanese are displaced and refugees and death is among us by the tens of thousands.
