On the evening honoring him… Poet Hashem Siddiq… a tear for the homeland

On Friday evening, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry witnessed a large celebration of the nation’s poet, Hashim Siddiq, during which he inaugurated the “First and Second Poetry Collection,” sponsored by Tarco Aviation Company, and in the presence of various forms of artistic painting, bringing together all spectrums of creative people who came from various Gulf countries specifically to attend the evening.
Cameras recorded the tears of the poet Hashem Siddiq as he spoke about the homeland and what befell it, in addition to his talk about his late companion Muhammad Al-Amin, who was affected by his loss.
The inauguration included many segments, which the artist Louay Abdel Aziz began with pieces that were praised by the audience, followed by a documentary film prepared by Tarco about the poet, where the film gave titles and a brief introduction about him and the most prominent stations of his life and achievements.
The evening was attended by a number of poets, including Azhari Muhammad Ali, Ishaq Al-Halnaqi, Mahmoud Al-Jaili, Jamal Hassan Saeed, and others. They appreciated Tarco’s experience in caring for creative people, hoping that it would continue and include others.
