Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati affirmed his rejection of any incitement against the Sudanese brothers, because they are guests of Egypt, and affirmed his rejection of any campaigns or attempts to incite mass deportation, because that harms Egypt and its leading role.
The minister commented on the intervention of MP Mustafa Bakri, in the meeting of the committee responding to the government statement in the House of Representatives , saying, “Egypt is committed to its message and to international covenants and responsibilities,” noting that the conflicts that prompted them to seek refuge in Egypt will end, and therefore I reject any incitement against our Sudanese brothers or others, and anyone who transgresses will be subject to the law, but Egypt’s national interest and its role towards its brothers must be upheld.”
Egyptian MP Mustafa Bakri had denounced the campaigns inciting against our Sudanese and Arab brothers, and said in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs: “Egypt is the heart of Arabism, and the presence of our brothers from Arab countries came as a result of the conflicts and crises in our Arab countries.” Bakri appreciated President Sisi’s attitude , which opened the doors to the victims of wars and conflicts from our Arab brothers.
