Al-Baraa Battalion Commander Calls for Arming Youth

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

Al-Baraa Bin Malik Al-Misbah Battalion Commander affirmed the arming of all Sudanese and leaving offices, halls and social events for the battlefields.
On Sunday, Talha Abu Zaid, Commander of Al-Baraa Bin Malik Al-Misbah Battalion, posted on his personal Facebook account, saying: “In this battle, all Sudanese youth must carry weapons and engage in it practically within operational sites.”
Abu Zaid said that protection does not come by deploying internal bases or military parade lines within cities, nor by declarations of readiness from platforms, halls, conferences and event marquees, but by gathering within the camps of the armed forces SAF.
Abu Zaid called on the youth in Sudan to head towards the front lines of the armed forces SAF and advanced sites, and for everyone to go out and leave the concerns of the world, as he put it.
He stressed the need to put iron on the shoulders of men, and to cover themselves with the nation of war in search of the enemy and pursue him, and he said that the time is not for trade, work, profession or worldly concerns, and he added, “The time is for rushing and protecting oneself, honor and religion.” Abu Zaid added: “Every free and zealous Sudanese man must go out and join the advancing forces, and leave questions like: How is the situation? Is it approaching? And we want reassurance? These questions must be left to women and housewives in their chambers.”
