During the first event of the “Sudanese Artists Forum” project, the Goethe-Institut in Cairo presents the short documentary “Sudan Hub”, a film by three artists that sheds light on the experiences of the first batch of the project and the impact it had on them, as they continued their valuable work in new and different environments.
The “Sudanese Artists Forum” project was established in 2023 and recently launched the second batch, to continue supporting Sudanese artists and cultural managers who have since moved from Sudan to Egypt and other countries in the region, following the disruption of their spaces and networks in Sudan, due to the ongoing conflict that began on 15 April 2023 until now.
