Committee to Inventory the Losses of the Private Sector due to the war

Secretary-General of the Businessmen and Women Club, Jamal Hamdan, announced the formation of a committee to inventory the losses of the private sector and businessmen due to the war that broke out on April 15, 2023, and to submit them to the relevant authorities for compensation, whether internal or international organizations that can contribute to compensation for what the war destroyed in order to mitigate the damage to businessmen.
He said in a statement to “Sudan Events ” after the meeting of the club’s executive committee, “The private sector’s debts to the government and the existing obligations towards government and semi-government projects were discussed, in addition to the banks’ debts to the private sector and the problems facing businessmen after the war, addition to projects to restore what was destroyed by the war and refinance the private sector to maintain and rehabilitate factories and productive sectors in general.
He revealed the club’s intention to hold a meeting with the Sudanese ambassador to Egypt to discuss the problems facing businessmen in Egypt and to enlighten him on the establishment and initiatives of the Businessmen Club
and to discuss the club’s contribution to attracting foreign companies, investments and private entities to contribute to reconstruction after the war.
