The Camerata Traditional Music Band, led by artist Dafallah Al-Hajj, is participating today in the conclusion of the International South Conference on Arts and Culture from Sicily to Aswan, which was held for a week at the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo.
The South Conference on Arts and Creative Culture is defined as a gathering or platform where artists from the southern regions meet to display and discuss their creative works.
It may include various art forms such as painting, sculpture, photography, and others, to serve as a center for cooperation, criticism, and communication between artists in the southern community.
The Southern Salon for Arts and Creative Arts aims to be a dynamic platform that supports, promotes, and celebrates the arts in the southern regions, contributing to the cultural vitality and artistic excellence of the community.
The Southern Salon for Arts and Creative Culture also seeks to provide a comprehensive and attractive platform for artists, art lovers, and cultural stakeholders to exchange ideas, showcase talents, and contribute to the vibrant art scene in the southern region. It aims to promote southern artists.
And cultural exchange among them, in addition to artistic development and community participation, and networking, cooperation, education, and awareness.
The Southern Art Salon for Traditional Arts and Culture is likely to include a variety of activities such as a seminar and workshop on the South by a number of prominent figures in Egypt, in addition to an art exhibition of plastic arts on the South. It will conclude with a concert by the Sudanese Camirata band.
