A high Turkish Ministerial Committee visits Sudan

The governor of the River Nile state, Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid, revealed that a number of Turkish investors have expressed their readiness to invest in Sudan in the field of agricultural manufacturing, leather, textile and carpet manufacturing, addition to contributing to the training and qualification of farmers and workers in various production fields.
The governor announced during his meeting with the member of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Naval Eng. Ibrahim Jaber (Thursday) to inform him of the results of his visit to Turkey for the purpose of forming economic companies and transferring technologies and experiences related to developing the agricultural sector and the fields of manufacturing industry and upgrading exports in the state, he announced the visit of a high Turkish ministerial committee to Sudan to discuss the possibility of translating the results of this visit with the relevant Sudanese ministries.
Ibrahim Jaber praised the keenness of the River Nile state to develop unconventional methods to develop the state’s resources and open up investment and trade horizons.
The governor described the delegation’s visit to Turkey as successful, noting that the delegation visited several industrial sites in Ankara, Istanbul, Gaziantep, and Izmir, as well as a number of institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry and associations interested in medium and small industries in Turkey, to learn about modern agricultural technology and mechanization.
In a related context, the delegation of the River Nile state briefed the member of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen.Ibrahim Jaber, on the recommendations of the Turkish Businessmen Forum in which the state delegation participated.
