Washington Envoy: Committed to Ending the Suffering of Sudanese

The U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan, Tom Perriello, announced his arrival in the Swiss capital Geneva from Jeddah, aiming to organize the Geneva talks scheduled for next Wednesday.

He emphasized the importance of urgent international efforts to end the crisis in Sudan.

He stated that, in addition to consultations with the concerned parties, the voices of tens of thousands of civilians inside and outside Sudan who wish to end the daily suffering caused by bombings, famine, and sieges have been heard.

Perriello affirmed the commitment of the United States and its partners to respond to these demands.
