Kabbashi Directs Activation of Political and Diplomatic Movements to Enlighten on Developments in the Sudanese Crisis

Member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams al-Din Kabbashi, directed the necessity of activating political and diplomatic movements on the regional and international stage to enlighten about the latest developments concerning the crisis and the war imposed on the country, particularly the recent American invitation regarding negotiations in Geneva and the Sudanese government’s stance on them.
During his meeting on Tuesday with the acting Prime Minister, Othman Hussein, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, Kabbashi also directed that these institutions should lead the political and diplomatic movement at this critical stage that Sudan is going through to enlighten local and international public opinion about developments and the efforts of the Sudanese government to restore security and stability in the country.
