Discussing Financing Opportunities for Development and Service Projects in White Nile State

The Acting Director-General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development, Al-Tayeb Mohammed Al-Hassan, met with Merghani Hassan, the Director of the Central Bank of Sudan in the state, at his office on Thursday. The meeting discussed opportunities for financing investment and development projects and services through the bank branches in the state and the Union of Banks, following the bank’s financing policies.

The Director of the Central Bank of Sudan in the state expressed the bank’s readiness to cooperate and fully coordinate with the public sector in the state to provide financing opportunities for infrastructure and service projects. The meeting also discussed the Central Bank’s plan to expand by constructing a new site in the state to offer banking services to the state and neighboring states. The bank director expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Infrastructure for his continuous cooperation with the bank’s management and all operating banks in the state and for the swift response in selecting a new site for the construction of the Central Bank of Sudan in the state.
