Government Delegation to Cairo to Discuss Implementation of Jeddah Agreement

The Sovereignty Council stated that based on a call with the U.S. government, represented by the U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan, Tom Perriello, and a call from the Egyptian government requesting a meeting with a government delegation in Cairo to discuss the government’s vision for implementing the Jeddah Agreement, the government will send a delegation to Cairo for this purpose.

In this context, a government source revealed to “Sudan Tribune” that the Minister of Minerals, Mohamed Bashir Abu Namou, will head the government delegation, which will meet the American and Saudi delegations in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
