The Supreme Committee for Emergencies and Crisis Management in Khartoum State decided in its meeting, chaired by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman, to implement an urgent campaign targeting the control of disease vectors and the effects of autumn, drying up and filling in ponds, and inspecting homes and markets. The meeting directed to mobilize all capabilities of official bodies and organizations to participate in the campaign.

The meeting reviewed the tasks issued to the agencies working in the service field, presented by the Secretary-General of the Local Governance Council, Ihab Hashem Ismail, explaining that the number of tasks reached 168, of which 132 were executed with a performance rate of 78%, and 29 tasks are ongoing, resulting in stability in electricity, water, health services, enhancing security aspects, combating negative phenomena, and tightening coordination rings in distributing humanitarian aid.
