Egyptian Intelligence Chief to Al-Burhan: We Hope the War Ends Soon

On Friday, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, met with the Egyptian Intelligence Chief, Minister Abbas Kamel, in the presence of General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, Director of General Intelligence.

 During the meeting, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council praised Egypt’s leading role in supporting and assisting its Sudanese brothers within the framework of the historical and fraternal relations that bind the two countries and peoples, expressing his deep appreciation and gratitude to the Arab Republic of Egypt, its government, and people under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

 The meeting discussed Sudanese-Egyptian relations and the challenges facing the two brotherly countries.

 The Egyptian Intelligence Chief affirmed his country’s keenness on Sudan’s security and stability, hoping that the war would end quickly to stop the suffering of the Sudanese people.
