Launch of Direct Cash Support Program in the Red Sea

Mohamed Ali Salem, Commissioner for Security and Poverty Reduction at the Federal Ministry of Social Development, reviewed the progress of the direct cash support program implemented by the Commission for Security and Social Solidarity and Poverty Reduction in partnership with the Savings Bank and the Social Development Sector. He assured that the final arrangements for the disbursement process and the challenges facing the program and providing liquidity were in place, explaining that the direct cash support includes people with disabilities and those affected by war. According to the disbursement schedule for direct cash support to families in the Red Sea state localities, the third and fourth installments will be disbursed at a rate of “50” thousand per individual and “100” thousand for those who did not receive the first payments, supervised by the Center for Security and Poverty Reduction in the Social Development Sector in the Red Sea.
