The Resistance Committees in Abu Quta unit in Al Jazirah state revealed cases of forced displacement of residents in the Abu Quta and Rabat Al-Awamra units by the Rapid Support Forces militia. In a statement, the committees mentioned that the villages of Al-Faki Hamed, Al-Kahli, Kombo Sadiq, and Al-Mustaeen Billah witnessed a complete exodus due to looting operations carried out by the Rapid Support Forces militia. The statement confirmed that the attacking forces looted all food supplies and property and ordered residents to leave those villages, adding, “The villages under the Abu Quta administrative unit are experiencing widespread violations by the Rapid Support Forces militia.” Meanwhile, the Nidaa Al-Wasat platform described what is happening in the villages of Abu Quta and Rabat Al-Awamra as an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.” The platform said, “Thousands of residents of the villages of Al-Mustaeen Billah, Kombo Al-Sadiq, Al-Faki Hamed, Abzeina, and Al-Kahli found themselves forced to leave their villages after the Rapid Support Forces militia invaded them and displaced them at gunpoint.” The platform accused the “militia gangs” of directly targeting citizens and shooting at them, leading to casualties. The platform confirmed in a statement that the attacking forces looted all citizens’ properties, money, and even livestock in these villages. They added, “A bitter local and regional reality is being imposed by this militia through its vile practices to occupy the area and assert its control over it without legitimacy, not only causing hardship and terrorizing the citizens but also seizing their lands.”
