Turkey: We Stand by the Sudanese People in This Ordeal

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on Sunday, received the credentials of the new Turkish Ambassador to Sudan, Fatih Yıldız, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, General Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin.

In a press statement, the Turkish ambassador said that he conveyed the greetings of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council. He pointed out the distinguished bilateral relations between Turkey and Sudan, as well as the cooperative ties between the two countries.

He stated that Turkey stands by the Sudanese people in this ordeal and expressed his hope for the achievement of peace and stability in Sudan. The ambassador affirmed his commitment to maintaining the fruitful cooperation between Turkey and Sudan during his tenure.
