Sudanese Doctors: Militia Loots Medical Equipment from Sinja Hospitals

The Sudanese Doctors Network accused the RSF of looting medical equipment from hospitals in Sinja. In a statement on Thursday, the network said that an RSF force dismantled equipment from Sinja City hospitals, including the general government hospital, the police hospital, the kidney hospital, and the reference health insurance center, and transported it to an unknown location, in addition to looting generators and ambulances.

The network condemned the ongoing looting of medical facilities and the transfer of their equipment to unknown destinations. It affirmed that this crime violates basic human rights, exacerbating the health crises in the area, as these devices form the basic infrastructure of the city’s hospitals, increasing the suffering of civilians who cannot leave amid halted medical services, road closures, and disrupted transportation.
