Casualties in Militia Bombing on Sennar and El Fasher

Sudan Events – Reports
On Saturday, several civilians were killed and dozens injured in a heavy artillery shelling carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), targeting densely populated civilian areas in both Sennar and El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State.
A statement issued by the Sennar Youth Gathering said, “The residents of Sennar city lived through the most terrifying moments since the siege by the RSF, as the intense random shelling resulted in numerous deaths.”
The statement pointed out that Sennar Hospital is crowded with injured civilians, describing the situation as a complete crime against humanity and targeting innocent civilians in their homes after they fled the horrors of war to shelters.
In El Fasher, eyewitnesses told “Sudan Tribune” that “at least two people were killed when an artillery shell launched by the RSF hit a family home in the Al-Daraja Al-Oula neighborhood in the west of the city.”
The shelling also targeted the vicinity of El Fasher Airport and the Abu Shouk neighborhood, leading to multiple civilian injuries and the destruction of several homes.
