Relief Convoys Dispatched to Sennar

The Humanitarian Aid Commission dispatched trucks from the state of Gedaref to the state of Sennar, carrying aid in the presence of the Executive Director of the Red Crescent in the state of Sennar and the Coordinator of the Al-Ightinam Organization.
Mohamed Abdel-Fattah Dontai explained that the trucks contain food supplies from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center through the Al-Ightinam Organization for one thousand families.
The convoy also includes aid from the Red Crescent and the International Organization for Migration, consisting of 1,500 blankets, 1,000 tarps, food supplies, 500 sets of household utensils, 1,000 mosquito nets, and 500 medical kits for 500 families.
Additionally, the commission sent a complete solar energy system, a CBC machine, and an ultrasound device to Wad Al-Abbas Hospital. The commission is also coordinating with the Children’s Development Organization to organize mobile clinics in safe areas, as well as obstetrics, kidney, and epidemic treatment medicines provided by the World Health Organization.
He indicated that the convoy would arrive in Sennar on Monday, thanks to the efforts and follow-up by Sennar’s Governor, Tawfiq Mohamed Ali.
