Local sources told Al Jazeera that the army’s air force bombed RSF militia positions east of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, local sources reported that RSF forces launched heavy artillery and rocket attacks from their eastern positions in El Fasher, targeting western neighborhoods and the vicinity of the Sixth Infantry Division Headquarters.
Additionally, a source in the Khartoum state government told Al Jazeera that two civilians were injured in Karrari’s “100” block (Journalists’ Block) in Omdurman as a result of RSF shelling in several residential neighborhoods. One of the victims is in critical condition.
